Erin McGregor, sister of MMA star Conor McGregor, marked a significant chapter in her life by marrying singer-songwriter Terry Kavanagh in a breathtaking ceremony in Ireland on August 17, 2024.

Surrounded by close family and friends, the couple exchanged vows at the historic Cashel Palace Hotel, symbolizing the culmination of their journey together. Erin and Terry chose Ireland as their venue, with Erin expressing, “Home is where the heart is.”

Having been together for several years, Erin and Terry shared a deeply personal journey leading up to this day. Reflecting on their wedding, Erin said, “We wove the most beautiful and significant parts of our lives into this day, each in its own unique way. To us, getting married means completing our family, the final link in our unbreakable chain.”

The setting of their nuptials, the Cashel Palace Hotel, was the perfect backdrop for their luxurious celebration. Set within a regal manor dating back to 1732, the hotel is located in the heart of Ireland and offers views of the iconic Rock of Cashel.

With a rich history of hosting illustrious guests such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and the late Princess Diana, the meticulously restored hotel provided a glamorous and historic setting for the couple’s big day.

Erin and Terry ensured that every detail of their wedding reflected their love story and the family they have built together, making the day uniquely theirs. The couple shares an 8-year-old son, Harry, and Erin has a 24-year-old daughter, Taylor, from a previous relationship.

On her wedding day, Erin radiated elegance in a custom Zuhair Murad gown, featuring intricate lace detailing and a corset-inspired bodice. She completed her look with Jimmy Choo shoes, which perfectly complemented the regal and glamorous theme of the wedding.

“Our absolute must-have for the wedding was ensuring that Harry was as comfortable as possible and able to enjoy the wedding festivities,” Erin said. Their thoughtfulness extended to their guest list, which included 135 friends and family members.

Among the guests was Erin’s brother, Conor McGregor, who attended with his partner, Dee Devlin, and their four children: Croia, Rian, Conor Jr., and Mack. Adhering to the black-and-white dress code, Conor and his family looked striking, with Dee stunning in a chic one-shoulder ensemble.

Erin and Terry’s love story began in the most unassuming way—at a smoothie bar in Las Vegas. Introduced by a mutual friend with a little encouragement from Erin’s mother, their connection grew quickly.

In a 2018 interview with RSVP, Erin reflected on how their relationship began, sharing, “A friend of mine was partying hard and he introduced us. Neither of us were drinking, I was huge into fitness, and my friend tried to do a Cilla Black by setting us up together.”

Erin shared that her mother immediately vetted her new partner with questions when they first met, as if mentally checking boxes. Erin had given up on love, believing it only existed in fairytales, but after they started texting, she declined his dinner invitation and suggested a walk instead.

“I arrived with no make-up on and wearing leisurewear, which was a big deal for me, and as corny as it sounds, I knew he was the one,” Erin recalled. “You know when you know.”

Despite her initial hesitations about finding love again, Erin found her “happily ever after” with Terry, culminating in their beautiful wedding at Cashel Palace Hotel.
