David Beckham’s Wife Victoria Ditches Long Hair & Debuts New Bob Cut, Causing Stir

Fashion mogul Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on September 3 to share a carousel post of beautiful family pictures. Netizens who have seen the post flooded the comment section with praise for Victoria’s sleek new hairdo.

Dressed to the nines for the special occasion, alongside her doting husband, David Beckham, and their kids, Harper and Cruz Beckham, they celebrated Romeo Beckham’s birthday.

Victoria donned a simply chic, black strapless jumpsuit and accessorized with light jewelry, which included a bracelet, necklace, and earrings. Her hair, which is now a medium-length bob, fell loosely on her shoulders, as the family could be seen celebrating Romeo’s big day with a fancy birthday dinner.

Matching Victoria’s classy style, David looked dashing in his silk pink shirt and black pants. Cruz rocked a striped dress shirt and chinos while his little sister, Harper Beckham, dazzled in a baggy Bruno Mars t-shirt, which she paired with light-wash denim jeans and a dark denim jacket.

The birthday boy, who stood in between huge balloons, looked handsome in an all-black ensemble, which included a T-shirt and dress pants. Romeo paired his outfit with an eye-catching watch and bracelets.

“Amazing weekend in Vegas celebrating @romeobeckham….. we love u so so much!!! @davidbeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven x,” penned the doting mom in her caption.

Highlighting the fact that her eldest beloved son, Brooklyn Beckham, did not join the festivities, Victoria added, “Miss you @brooklynpeltzbeckham xx.”

Upon seeing Victoria’s Instagram post, many netizens showered her with compliments, especially where her stylish new bob was concerned. “New [haircut] 😍🔥,”�pointed out a fan while another gushed, “I loved your new haircut💇🏻‍♀️❤️.”

While the former pop star is known for rocking long hair, her recent change to a shorter hairdo is not the first time Victoria has done something different with her locks. In 2022, the fashion designer shared a post reviewing different hairstyles she has had.

The video footage started with Victoria getting her hair done with overlaid text, which read, “How I feel about my past hair/makeup choices…”

It then transitions to show throwback pictures of the star rocking different hairstyles, from her asymmetrical bob, her spiky pixie cut, her blonde hairdo, and long waves to her wearing a long ponytail. With each transition, a narrator gave the looks either a yes, no, or 50/50 rating.

Victoria’s fashion sense is just as daring and stylish as her hair choices. The trendsetter’s style is so influential that it has even inspired how her husband, David, dresses, which he confirmed at a Bowers & Wilkins event in New York in August.

After divulging how much confidence Victoria instills in him regarding his appearance David disclosed, “She has a huge influence [on] my style. When I put something on, I know from her reaction whether I need to take it off or whether I need to keep it on.”

One such occasion in which Victoria made a fashion suggestion saw her tell David to take off an item of clothing that she wasn’t too fond of when he was working out at the gym.

He posted about it on Instagram and captioned, “My wife said my orange vest was [too] bright so I took it off 🤔🧡🧡. [Judging] my workout clothes @victoriabeckham you know u love it really 🧡🧡.”

David Beckham is also his wife’s biggest fan when it comes to how she looks. “To be honest, she always looks good […] She always looks great,” said the soccer star when asked whether he influences Victoria’s style.

Whether she is helping her husband add flare to his outfits or putting an eye-catching ensemble together for herself, Victoria Beckham is well-versed in knowing how to look good. However, it was not too long ago that the public thought otherwise when the designer shared pictures of a family trip to Canada in August.

In the photos shared on August 28, Victoria was seen sporting a casual look with denim shorts, a gray hoodie, and a black cap. The initial slide of the Instagram carousel showed her posing with her son Romeo, who was wrapped in a towel.

Another picture featured Victoria with her daughter Harper, who was dressed in a short denim skirt and a gray hoodie with a zipper.

The carousel also showed a cozy family snap, where David, Victoria, Romeo, and Harper were seen lying on a couch, looking relaxed and content.

The last picture in the post captured a group shot with the Beckham family and the Salter family, all smiling as they enjoyed their time together.

However, the post ignited mixed responses from Victoria’s followers, with some applauding her family spirit and others focusing on her appearance.

“I’m not trying to turn back the clock. I’m 49 and don’t have a hang-up about it,” explained Victoria. She also expressed pride in how she has maintained her fitness over the years, revealing, “I have more muscle tone at 49 than I did at 25.”
